Inspired by the only previously unknown fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, a story unfolds, full of mystery, magic and the depths of human nature. Atmospheric music, composed by film score composer Sami Hammi, sets the scene. The action on stage takes its course, becoming real. The famous fairy-tale scholar Professor Jacob Grimm takes to the stage, driven by the desire to unravel the ancient secrets of Lake Walen. At his side: the clever and courageous Anna von Quinten, who once, as a child… But it is not only people who drive the action forward – nature, too, raises its voice, and with it forces that cannot all be controlled. What may come to light – and what would be better left hidden?
